Thank you for checking out DMWC! All of our products are made in our small home based woodworking shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our priority is to use quality woods sourced from Manitoba and across Canada. We also create a wide variety of products using exotic woods from around the world. Our aim is to provide creative, high quality product
Thank you for checking out DMWC! All of our products are made in our small home based woodworking shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our priority is to use quality woods sourced from Manitoba and across Canada. We also create a wide variety of products using exotic woods from around the world. Our aim is to provide creative, high quality products that are functional, look beautiful in your home and may be passed on for generations. Each piece is made to uniquely take advantage of the characteristics of the wood being used. Our aim is to waste nothing and make use of every inch of lumber in the shop - working so-called defects in the wood into the designs in a creative way.

We got started in our business in 2020. Like so many other home based businesses these days, the pandemic kept us at home and enabled our creativity and skills to find an outlet. Dan has spent his entire career in the furniture manufacturing world, involved with drafting, product design and project management. Being a homeowner has mean
We got started in our business in 2020. Like so many other home based businesses these days, the pandemic kept us at home and enabled our creativity and skills to find an outlet. Dan has spent his entire career in the furniture manufacturing world, involved with drafting, product design and project management. Being a homeowner has meant frequent woodworking projects were essential but the recent foray into creative woodworking really brought together decades of experience with some basic skills that have developed over time. Marilyn is a nurse, and is the motivator and the brains of the operation. Her keen eye and design sense keep me on track!

We will take on almost any custom project and have created such things as wooden wall art, children's toys, cheese slicers, butcher blocks, bathtub caddies, Dutch shuffleboard games, beer totes, park benches and more!
